Ever since
I was a kid, I always liked things related to science, I liked watching programs
about animals and about space, plus I knew I didn't want to work in an office. So,
I thought about a lot of careers before choosing forestry engineering. in high
school, I knew I liked something related to biology, so I got into the biology
elective, but I didn't like that it was only about human biology, so I ruled
out a health career. In application week, I took our career into consideration
on the last day and put it as my first choice along with the same at another
university and environmental engineering. I was convinced that the major was
about a little bit of everything, and I don't regret choosing it.
It has been
a great experience in many areas to come to study in Santiago. Despite being
homesick, I am very grateful for what the career has taught me, although it has
been quite heavy. But one of the things I have liked the most is that I have
been able to meet very cool people who make the days less difficult and
brighter.
